SAGER can offer a compete range of services for both public and private clients, within the context of the Italian law on “Waste Management” (Art. 183 of the Single Environmental Code), including “waste collection, transport, recovery and disposal of waste, as well as control over such operations and actions required after disposal sites closure, and operations performed as retailers or intermediary”.

Over the years SAGER has provided not only collection and transport services, but under specific authorization schemes has also managed a transfer station, its own landfill for non hazardous waste and waste recovery at its own plants operating within the framework “Communication”, where it has also served as Re-wood platform in one case. Moreover, under a concession scheme, it has designed, built and managed a quality composting plant to treat organic waste of urban and special origin (produced by private clients). 

As to the public sector, SAGER’s proposals relate to public contract and/or concession schemes regarding the provision of any waste-related service in strict compliance with legislation on public procurement and environment. Within the scope of public procurements, resorting to well-tested programs, SAGER can offer ad-hoc deals conceived for economic users whose waste has been absorbed by public services and requires specific treatment as against standards applied to private users. SAGER also provides assistance to facilitate, thanks to specific collection schemes, the achievement of objectives set by law in terms of separate waste collection and related tariffs.

 

For the private sector, SAGER offers client-tailored services, in order to assure the highest possible recovery rate, to reduce passive disposal and lower global costs related to waste-management, starting from a waste classing analysis. Moreover, the Company provides assistance in the communication with the public administration to help in the identification of areas to be covered with pubic services (urban waste and related tax/fee), as well as areas where special waste is produced and businesses involved are free in terms of waste management. Finally, SAGER assists its clients in terms of compliance with both environmental (compulsory modules to be produced/SISTRI) and tax legislation (VAT) relating to services provided.

 

Compliance with legislation is fully respected, so as to protect the Client in terms of “accountability for waste management” deriving from the environmental legislation (Art. 188 of the Single Environment Code). Clients who choose SAGER do know that data related to years of their waste management are always available, also in case of complaints from public authorities, and even after the expiry of the contract with SAGER.
